These cars were way ahead of the times. Consider the Switch Pitch twin turbine transmission, consider the bucket seats front/rear, consider the door handles for rear seat, consider the long/low styling. These cars are gorgeous, great to drive and just plain good looking.
This car lived its entire life in Texas. We have documentation from the original owner. It came to us from Austin.
The beginning of a custom? It has been lowered. I can see it with some Astro Supremes and some wider white walls.
The paint is nice, but has checks, touch-up and a few bubbles of rust. The trim is nice. The bumpers are great.

Beneath the car, it is exceptional. If only the Midwestern cars could look so nice. This car has never seen salt, but it has seen sun.
The sun has been hard on the paint. It has weathered the rear seats and package tray. It has faded the faux wood trim and cracked the dash. So the car isn't perfect. But does it run great! What awesome drivers these Rivieras are. Big time torque, plenty of power, luxury ride and nice features.
This car has cruise and A/C (not working), power windows, seat and antenna, Wonderbar radio. These were very luxurious cars, sporty too.
This is a great car for under $10,000. What an engineering spectacle. These cars were way ahead of the times.
