NOTICE:
We try very hard to provide quality vehicles that are fairly priced. We inspect them for safety and disclose any defects we discover.
However, all of our vehicles are sold as-is, no warranty is offered and no warranty is implied.
We describe our vehicles as accurately as possible. Multiple photos are provided and we are willing to photograph specific areas upon request.
We will gladly describe a vehicle verbally and will do our best to answer specific questions.
Our vehicles are available for inspection. An independent inspector or appraiser is welcome. We encourage our prospective customers to personally inspect the vehicle they are interested in.
Due to the age of most vehicles we offer, we do not encourage our customers to drive them home.
We recommend getting to know your new vehicle before taking the risk of driver error, breakdown or accident. We are happy to assist with transportation arrangements.
We do not offer refunds. All sales are final. Should you decide the vehicle you purchased does not suit you, we may consider offering you the purchase price as a trade-in towards another vehicle we have for sale. Our customers are world-wide. Many have purchased more than one vehicle from us. We try very hard to offer fairly priced vehicles and to provide you with full disclosure.

transpixel This car is dramatically customized. Believe it or not, it began life as a Victoria hardtop. It only lasted two years in stock livery before the customization began.
In 1953, it went to the Barris Kustom shop, where it was sectioned some five inches. This was later confirmed and the dash was then autographed by George. The emblems and decal are still affixed to the car.
The car was driven another five years around Waco, TX before it went into storage for over thirty years.
A well known Tulsa, OK customizer named Art Maimbourg purchased the car in 1989. He had a wild vision and transformed the car into what you see today.
He altered the wheel wells, nosed and pancaked the hood, shaved the deck, installed a faux continental kit, installed a 1954 Oldsmobile grill, shaved the doors and installed 1948 Lincoln push buttons, installed a chrome steering column and minimized a Crestliner steering wheel to 14 inches. The front fenders were modified with '56 Chrysler features. The quarter panels and tail lights were modified to look like Kaiser.

transpixel The biggest leap was to make the hardtop coupe into a roadster. He swapped the cowl and windshield frame for one from a convertible. The rear deck was legenthened by about two feet. A lift-off Carson top was fabricated. The interior was modified to make it a two-seater with a business coupe like storage area. He even had a tonneau cover made. It no longer exists.
Art had a style of his own. He applied it to the color choices, the stainless trim applied, the bumpers and the wheel covers. He commissioned the paint and striping by Roth.
Art had a Flathead built up. He installed an Offenhauser intake topped by a Carter WCFB. A cast iron four speed backs it up. He also converted it to twelve volt, installed turn signals and switched the wipers to electric.
Art showed the car for the first time at KKOA-Holland, MI in 1990. Of course it was a huge hit. The time and skill is evident.
There are many other subtle modifications that need to be seen in person to be appreciated. You might spend hours just taking in the glory of this dramatic custom.
We are honered to offer this car to the Kustom Kemp world. We plan to show it off if we own it long enough. It is ready to be shown and driven.
