Stored for the past 30 years! This very nice car was tucked away and needed only minimal maintenance to get it back on the road.
It appears that the car was freshly painted and had new tires before its hiatus. Perhaps a death in the family caused the extended siesta for this car.
It attracted a few dings during storage, but nothing major. The fuel tank needed flushing/sealing. The fuel pump was bypassed and an electric one installed. We find that afterlong periods without use, a squirt of gas in the carb gets it going. We also find it takes a few miles in low gear before it will shift into drive. It is all getting better with each mile driven.
