This car has a Nasty big block Chevy. The motor was dynoed at over 500hp at the flywheel. It has 9.5/1 compression, so it will run on pump gas. The motor is just out of a very competent engine shop and is fresh. It runs on pump gas metered by two freshly built Holleys sitting on a Weiand tunnel ram. Fire is provided by a new Pertrinox ignition system. The fumes exit through a new exhaust system. The built 400 THM w/2500 stall shifts correctly and sends power to a posi-traction 3.55 1963 Oldsmobile differential. The car rolls on new period aluminum slots with new 30" tall piecrust slicks at the rear.
