Our struggling economy and a sad divorce forced the sale of this car. A very nice lady brought it to us. She had enjoyed it for ten years. It was a sad day for her.
How sad it is that a nice original low mile car wouldn't be worth more. I suppose being an AMC hurts it some, but it is a great car. If you are an AMC guy, I suppose the AMX clone hurts it. But why?
Somebody took great care and effort to source the correct parts to turn this Javelin into an AMX look-alike. We found tons of boxes, receipts, brochures and parts that likely came from an AMC dealership that sold out. They also kept the original Javelin pieces, so this car can be put back to original if you choose. Viewed: 77 times.

This car is very original. You will find flaws. It has stone chips and some were touched up. The drivers seat has a split. The engine compartment is original and could use detailing.
On the other hand, this car is in great condition. The body is solid and without rust through. The floors are good, the trunk is gorgeous. It runs perfectly. All features function properly. It was used sparingly and has most likely enjoyed "collector" status for the past thirty years. The mileage is actual at just over 46,000.
I like that it is original, unique and very reasonably priced. It is sad that Susan couldn't keep her "baby". We hope you are in a position to maintain ownership for a legenthy period. You will certainly enjoy this nice AMC as much as she did. Viewed: 65 times.
