We found this nice car in a small Oklahoma city. It was part of a collection. This collector bought the car at auction out of another collection.
This nice Merc. was gently driven and has only accumulated 90,000 miles. Recently, it wasn't driven often. We were able to freshen up the fuel, have it tuned and adjusted, repaired the overdrive solenoid and now it runs and drives like a champ.
A restoration was performed many years ago. It has held up wonderfully and is certainly show worthy. The body and paint are very nice. The chrome and stainless are above average. All the glass is good.
The interior is gorgeous. It is redone in period correct fashion. Seat belts were added and the trunk was completely upholstered. The headliner is leather. It is all super nice. All the courtesy lights work and the radio plays. Very well done.

Slight modifications have occured over the years. Both the hood and decklid were shaved. Emblems and trim were removed. The trunk opens remotely. The exhaust is true duals all the way out through Smitty style mufflers. Other than that the car appears original.
The underside is extraordinarily solid. It was undercoated during the restoration. The engine compartment looks very original and was detailed during the restoration.
This car rolls on bias ply wide whites that look just perfect. The brakes all work perfectly. It starts instantly, runs, drives and stops just as it should.
You have found a great driving show worthy Merc. Its entire life was spent in dry climate and since the restoration it has been in collectors' hands. The downturn in our economy has presented us with nice opportunities like this to own great cars.
