A resurrection of an old Gasser style hotrod. We did it right. You'll understand after looking it over.
This car was done up in the day. Just check out the interior. Pleated naugehyde, including the dash and package tray. You couldn't replicate this if you tried! This car had decals from drag strips in Alabama and Georgia. While it came to us a wimpy street car, we just knew it needed to be resurrected.
So we tossed the powertrain and chassis. We now have a way cool front stub that has been hole punched and mounted on top of a drilled Chevy truck straight axle. The front end was completely overhauled including machining the kingpins, new needle bearings, all new steering components, new rotors and new GM full size calipers. Spindle mounts with front runners give it the old school look.

Out back you will find the suspension is now re-arched leaf spring over a Mopar 8.75 inch. We have a rebuilt 742 housing containing 4.30 Richmond gears and a Sure-grip. New drum brakes and heavy Dodge truck shocks make it sturdy and safe. 31 inch slicks roll on some old school Aluminum slotted wheels, all new. A crazy set of ladder bars hold everything in place during that harsh launch.
The power comes from a Pake's built 468 with a Weiand blower and a Holley carb perched on top. Ported heads, mild cam and fenderwell headers add to the oomph. It's fired by a Pertronix ignition system and cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator.
The body and interior must be 30-40 years old. You couldn't duplicate them if you tried. Not perfect, but perfect for a gasser. You'll find a full compliment of gauges and all the safety equiptment you would need.
We will have the old girl on the track soon. We will keep you posted.
This radical old gasser is resurrected to look like she should. Acts accordingly. You really need to see her to appreciate the quality of the build and the talent and creativity that went into it. We did the hard stuff and spent the big bucks. All you need to do is make it yours, keep the fuel cell full and turn the key.
