This car has lots of potential. You can certainly drive it as-is or you have a great platform for a restoration.
I have been driving this car. Perhaps it is because we were both born in the same year. Most likely it is because it has a unique style to it, it starts and runs fabulously and it performs effortlessly on the roadway.
The 364 V8 fires right up and runs like a champ. Plenty of power. The Turbine Drive transmission is smooth and the switch pitch action responds with a kick of the right foot.
I love the dash. Ornate and stylish. The Mirromagic instrument panel is very unique and space-age. What is not to like about the steering wheel. The door panels are awesome, with "LeSabre" embossed into the material. Viewed: 903 times.

The interior of this car is pretty darn nice. Both seats have one seam that split, other than that the interior is super.
The exterior is okay. Wisconsin winters caught up to the lower portions with rust evident in the fenders and rocker panels. I am confident it can be repaired. The chrome and stainless are both very nice. The grill is in great shape and looking sharp.
This is a low option car. The only option is the Sonomatic radio. It is very basic. Perhaps the Wisconsin State Patrol sticker in the window explains its basic features.
This unique Buick has been driven sparingly for the past 50 years. The odometer reads just over 6000 milesand it certainly has rolled around once, but I doubt it went around twice.
For the money, this is a cool car. A great driver, unique styling. If you desire, restore it. If not, drive it and enjoy it. There is a ton of potential waiting for you. Viewed: 697 times.
