This nice Coupe was sold new in Benton Harbor, MI for $5166.40. The first two owners were prominent businessmen that both wintered in Florida. That explains the great condition of the car.
But it wouldn't be such a great daily driver without the loving care of Don and Sally. They were the caretakers for the past 32 years. Until now, the car always resided in Benton Harbor, MI.
It has only been driven 59,000 miles. The last 250 as it was DRIVEN to us from Benton Harbor.
Dan had the body of the car refinished to the original Goddess Gold. The roof is still the original paint. He also had the bumper ends replaced. When new exhaust was installed, he terminated it below the bumper to save the bumper ends from corrosion.
Dan recently had the transmission rebuilt. He also had the brakes done, a new starter and water pump installed and the battery was new this spring. The radial tires are in very good condition. Mechanically, this car is rearing to go.
The drivers seat shows some wear, but it in remarkable condition for being original. All features function properly. The power windows, power antenna and Wonder Bar radio are all still functioning. So is the power seat and the fog lamps.
We are confident this is a get-in and drive car. It proved it on the road trip back through Chicago.
Three proud owners treated this Cadillac with the care it deserved. It has remained in wonderful condition, despite residing in Benton Harbor, MI. I wonder where it will live next. Viewed: 60 times.
