This truck never left a small town in Southern Iowa. It was owned by a man that ran a filling station. After his passing, the owner of the local body shop purchased it for restoration. You would be only the second person to register this truck for highway use.
It likely served its owner well. We heard reports that he gave it loving care. The engine is supposed to only have 15,000 miles on it since being rebuilt.
The restoration began as a body-off. The box and doors were replaced by some from Texas. New wheels and tires were installed. A professional paint job was applied. The box was preserved with a spray-in bed-liner. A new exhaust system was installed.

WE purchased this truck partially done. We had the engine pulled, inspected, cleaned and re-finished. We had the front suspension gone through and the rear springs replaced. The electrical system was buttoned up, rubber pieces were installed and, finally, the interior was freshened.
The floor of the cab was in perfect condition. We applied sound deadener and a new rubber floor mat. The seat frame was re-finished, the gas tank was covered and new seat belts were installed. Many other improvements were made to both the interior and exterior to enhance both the appearance and performance of this truck.
You will be proud to own this nice truck. Not only is it both a Cheyenne and a 4x4, it is truly a nice truck.
You can see it was cared for, then restored. If you know what a restoration involves, you will see this as a great opportunity to become the second care-taker of a very nice truck.
