I personally selected this trailer from a Western Oklahoma farmer’s inventory. It was sold new by Trinity Trailer of Dallas, TX to Gulf Coast Co-op of Texas. I doubt it was ever pulled on salted roads.
I pulled it over 1000 miles home. Pulls like a new trailer. It has been thoroughly inspected and repaired. It has brand new brakes. There are no repairs required. It is ready to haul.
This trailer is a 42 footer that is 96” wide with 66” sides. It has the Hi-flow Hoppers that offer 18” of ground clearance. The hoppers have Sidewinder belt-style doors and Side-slope vibrators.
The air-ride suspension has a Suspension Control gauge and dump valve. This makes for consistent legal loading if you get it to the right amount of pressure.
There are eight Aluminum wheels mounted with very good 11R-24.5 tires. This trailer is equipped with Anti-Loc brakes.
The tarp is by Sure-Loc and it is in great condition. There are two rows of lights, a permit holder, front corner mud-flaps, stainless steel back panel and corner panels and an extendable rear ladder. The crank for the landing gear and traps is brand new.
Timpte grain trailers are considered the top of the line. It is hard to find one of this vintage, with nice options and in great condition for under $20,000. You know that is less than 50% of new cost!
It was well worth the trip to find a trailer that is not all rusted out. Yes, you will find evidence of use, after all, this is not a brand new trailer. But this trailer would not be so nice were it from the Midwest. Upon inspection you will agree.
