This is a wonderful car. It was built in Atlanta and spent its life in West Virginia. It underwent a frame-off restoration in 2010. It was restored to original.
The Ash Gold Poly finish is wonderful. All chrome, trim and glass is like new. It has great sounding exhaust with the correct tips.
The Rally wheels are like new and they are wrapped in the new BFG Radial TA tires. The spare has never been on the ground. There is a complete jack. The doors lock via key.
The interior is the correct black vinyl. It has the proper seat belts, seta belt holders and console. The in-dash tachometer/ gauges are supposed to be rare for a 68′.
The car has its original 325 HP-396 backed by the THM400 transmission. The 12 bolt is geared for the highway.
Power steering and power brakes make for easy driving. The front brakes are disc.
This is a gentleman’s Chevelle. The color combination is very stately. It has plenty of power, but easy to drive. It is more elegant than sporty.
The quality of this car makes it an easy choice to take cruising. It is also the one to take to the car shows. It will be very well received.
This is a correctly restored car that has never been rusty. You will certainly be impressed.
We took it in trade for a 57 Nomad. Then sold it to a good friend. He loves to tinker and detail. During his ownership, he replaced seals and gaskets to allow for drip-free parking in his garage. He also detailed it to high standard.
But then he noticed we had a low mile, original survivor 69 Chevelle 396 SS at 375 HP with four speed. So we worked out a trade. I was happy to accept this back into inventory. It gained 740 miles, but it came back to me in better condition. It is such wonderful car.
