This nice car is somewhat unique because it is the Landau Special coupe. It provides a distinc and formal look.
The original owner was from the Pittsburg area. The most recent owner is also from there. We believe it spent its entire life in Pennsylvania.
It was recently repainted. The original color is called Nightmist Blue. The interior has always been blue.
The 390 V8 runs great. And no exhaust manifold leaks! The Cruise-o-Matic shifts properly. The 3.00 rear axle will allow for decent fuel economy and easy highway cruising.
This car has power locks, but the windows are manual. There is A/C, but the compressor is bad. The heater core is disconnected and the power antenna does not retract. The parking brake and horn are not working.
The gauges, lights, locks, wipers, etc. all work well. The aftermarket radio works fine.
This car was meant to cruise. It handles the road great on radial tires. Power steering and brakes make for effortless driving.
We like the quality of the body, paint, undercarriage, chrome and glass. While not a perfect show car, this Tbird is worthy of local shows. It is definitely a car to drive and enjoy.
